I . . . finally . . . updated . . . ! =) 57 62 new fans added! Oh and um, to the people who keep emailing me . . . -NOTE- I. AM. NOT. YAMATO. Seriously. Nor do I know Yamato personally . . . =P HE'S A CARTOON CHARACTER!! HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO USE HOTMAIL!! =P That is all. =)

Yamato;

Ishida Yamato, or Matt Ishida, is by far the most popular character of Digimon, in its entire four series, even though he's only in the first two. So what makes fangirls (and fanboys) alike love him so much? Well, aside from the fact that he is the best looking bishonen on the show, his character is probably the most indepth. His parents got a divorce when he was seven; he was to live with his father, whilst his younger brother at four, Takeru (T.K.), was to live with their mother. This caused severe distraught to Yamato, making him cold and distant by the time he was eleven, when he was sent to summer camp, and was ultimately transported to the Digital World with six others.
It was there that he met his rival&best friend, Yagami Taichi. He also met his future girlfriend&wife, Takenouchi Sora, to the many moans and groans of plenty of (mainly Taiora&Taito) fans.
Anyhow, through this 'adventure', he learnt to grow and overcome many of his insecurities and fears. First we thought of him as the 'self-proclaimed cool one', as quoted by Tai, but as the series progressed, we came to the conclusion that he was actually a very sensitive and caring person.
By the time series two, Zero Two, came around, Yamato was now fourteen and had his own rock band called the 'Teen-Age Wolves'. And boy could Yamato sing. Over the years he has become more open, more friendly, and generally nicer on first impression. As said before, he started to date Sora.
At the end of Zero Two, there was an epilogue of the Chosen Children in the Year 2027. Yamato was married to Sora. They had two kids, a girl and a boy. Yamato had become an astronaut. And so ends the story of Ishida Yamato, the guy we all love to.. well, love ©
